Go State!

We were able to take Jacob to his first MSU game this fall! This was also our first time to go back to a game in Starkville as adults (not students!). It was definitely a new experience for us keeping up with a two year old in the junction!

Jacob was able to meet Bully (wouldn't get very close, but loved him!)

The Cole family also went with us to the game! Claire was so cute in her MSU cheerleading outfit!

This only lasted about five minutes!!

Jacob's first game was filled with perfect weather, good friends, and a bulldog win! Can it get any better???

Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays

We have had birthdays galore the past few months! Jacob has loved picking out "birday pesents" and eating "birday cake". So, he has been enjoying all of these parties!

First was sweet baby Rylee's party! She had the cutest "sweet shop" themed party!

Next was Kinsley's party. She had a huge waterslide that the kids loved!

The family surprised Granymo for her birthday! She and Jacob had fun trying to catch some ducks while we were waiting on everyone to arrive!

This past Saturday we spent the day celebrating cousin Wes and Britley's birthdays.

Happy Happy Birthday to all of our sweet friends!!

Quick Summer Update

Oh! Where did our summer go??? I can't believe fall time is here already! We have had a great summer filled with fun activities, but we're ready for some cooler weather! I've gotten a little behind on blogging, but I'm going to do a quick catch up on the rest of our summer!

We've found a new favorite spot-the donut shop!! We Jacob LOVES it!

We also introduced Jacob to KrispyKreme!
We've been to the park..

The zoo...

 The Natural Science Museum..

We have done a little cooking!

And...of course..our summer would not be complete without a few playdates with Dude!

Are they not the cutest?!? Love these two boys! Hope your summer has been filled with just as much fun!

Fourth of July

We spent this fourth of July visiting with the Murray and Cole families on the coast! It's always so good to see them all, and we always have a lot of fun and laughs when we're together!
We planned to go to the beach everyday..but..the rain quickly changed our plans. We did get one pretty day at the beach, and Jacob loved it! We decided to take the kiddos to the circus on Saturday, and that was a major hit too!

Our firework show was definitely an adventure-but Jacob enjoyed them!

Jacob LOVED the circus! He was in awe of pretty much the whole show!

Enjoying a popsicle after the circus!

We even spotted a cookie store and had us a fourth of July cookie!

Happy Fourth!

Lately

Lately....
We have been very busy lately at the Thompson household! We have been enjoying every minute of this warm, sunny weather! Jacob is growing up so fast, and is learning new things everyday.

We tested out the splash pad with John Warren, and they had a blast!

Jay and Jacob went on a hunt for bugs one afternoon in the backyard! Jacob liked the thought of it, but didn't want to hold any of the bugs!

Jay and I celebrated our anniversary with a quick trip to Natchez (I highly recommend Natchez and Pleasant Hill B&B for a quick getaway!) We had so much fun!

And..we sure couldn't go long without seeing Dude!
We made a trip to the Children's Museum...

Did a little fishing and slip'n'sliding!

Even Aunt Jessi got in on the slip'n'sliding fun!

And..that pretty much sums up life lately with the Thompsons.

Memorial Day Weekend

A little behind on blogging, but here goes!
We had a fun-filled Memorial Day weekend this year! We had plans everyday and enjoyed every minute of the weekend.
We started our weekend out with our annual Calhoun City, MS trip. The Burt family lives in the small town, and it is something we have done for many years now. It's always a laid-back fun weekend with GREAT cooking!

A play date with Hagan is always a must, so, Sunday was spent with the Allen family at Jimbo and Cons! The sprinkler provided the boys with alot of fun and the adults with alot of laughs!

Monday, we had a little cookout with the Nesters.

We even extended our weekend on into Tuesday with one more play date with Emmie Lane. We took the kiddos to the park, introduced Emmie Lane to the cookie store, and played at the splash pad.

All of these activities wore little Jacob out!
