Can I just say I absolutely love the state fair! There's just something about that dirty, hot, stinky place that I just LOVE!!! Jay is never as excited to be going to the fair, but he's always willing to go and stay as long as I want. It reminds me of my childhood, and I was so excited to take Jacob this year! Jacob had his first fair experience last year but napped the whole time we were there. Not so sure how much fun Jacob actually had riding the rides, but he LOVED the petting zoo. I'm pretty sure he would have stayed in there the whole time if we would have let him! He didn't want to touch or feed any of the animals, but ran around pointing and making animal noises the whole time! Jacob's first ride was the roller coaster. (We might should have watched how fast it was before we put the kids on there-O! well!) Next was the elephants, which were Jacob's favorite and the big trucks, which seemed to be Emmie Lane's favorite! We also rode the carousel (that thing goes alot faster than I remember!).
